Good news: I'm 21, I can gamble!!! Bday weekend was possibly the greatest (entered it singing More Than A Woman by the Bee Gees, getting caked and putting on a show for my friends teehee)! Oddly enough, it also became a test for things and beings in the past YIKES

A Hawk And A Hacksaw- Song for Joseph

In my cry for new Balkan influenced bands, I was introduced to A Hawk and A Hacksaw. Mostly instrumental with occasional vocals, shouts and cheers; the band has toured with The Olivia Tremor Control and Beirut. Give me accordions, give me violins and I'm HOOKED like a junkie on H.

So far during break my love for lasagna has grown, my obsession with a clean closet has maxed out & my grandmother has dissed me *OOOOOOOOO*

English Twee pop/country duo, composed of composer/multi-instrumentalist Pete Hobbs and lyricist/singer Jof Owen. The single "Be Gentle With Me" has been featured in a season three episode of One Tree Hill and a season two episode of "Grey's Anatomy". Oh and it's been featured in a trillion commercials. Yay to trivia!

Oh my oh my i HATE Rooney. BUT I won't lie, "Popstars" is pretty effing sweet. Am I the only one that remembers the lead singer as the main attraction in Princess Diaries!?

Less famous for their music involvement in the Geico "Caveman" commercials, Royksopp is due to release their new album "Junior" (sometime soon)! Rumor has it that Lykke Li, Anneli Drecker, Robyn, and the Knife’s Karin Dreijer will make an appearance on Royksopps's third full length studio album. "Happy Up Here" is easily going to be everyones new alarm clock ring tone :)
